OVERVIEW
CREATIVITY • CULTURE • MOVEMENT •
Travel as a Practice:
Travel is an extension of our practices. It's an opportunity to step beyond the familiar, quiet the constant noise of routine, and awaken curiosity, awe, and wonder that so easily becomes buried in everyday life. Every winding cobblestone street, every swim in the bay, every shared meal, and every breathtaking view becomes an invitation to practice presence and experience life fully.
We believe there are parts of ourselves that can only be discovered by experiencing new places. Travel expands our perspective, deepens our gratitude, and reminds us how interconnected we truly are. In that way, every journey becomes a practice of mindfulness—not just noticing where we are in the world, but who we become while we're there.
What makes this retreat Unique:
Each morning begins in stillness, intuitive and purifying movement, and a deep inner devotion overlooking the bay before we step into the day with open hearts and curious minds. Rather than sightseeing, we'll immerse ourselves in the rhythm of Montenegro—wandering medieval streets, swimming in turquoise coves, lingering over long meals at locally loved restaurants, and embracing the culture, history, and traditions.
Throughout the week, we'll also nurture the artist within through creativity, journaling, and artful practices that allow us to slow down and observe deeply.
Yoga doesn't end when you step off the mat. It's found in the way you sip your coffee, the conversations shared over dinner, the feeling of saltwater on your skin, and the moments that ask nothing of you except your attention.
Our Location:
Nestled along the breathtaking Bay of Kotor, the UNESCO World Heritage village of Perast is one of Europe's most enchanting hidden gems. Surrounded by towering limestone mountains and the crystal-clear waters of the Adriatic, this timeless waterfront village invites you to slow down, soften, and experience the beauty of living more intentionally.
Cuisine:
Food is an essential part of the experience. Throughout the week, we'll enjoy fresh, Mediterranean-inspired meals featuring seasonal produce and the vibrant flavors of the Adriatic.
We'll also venture off property to dine at locally loved restaurants around the Bay of Kotor, gathering around family-owned tables and experiencing Montenegro's culture one delicious meal at a time.

Absolutely not. All levels are welcome, from complete beginners to experienced practitioners. Our practices are designed to meet you exactly where you are. Come curious, open, and willing to explore.

We strongly recommend purchasing travel insurance that covers international travel, medical expenses, cancellations, and unexpected changes to your plans. Travel insurance is the responsibility of each guest.
-
Less is more. Come prepared for warm days, time in the water, movement, and exploring. Bring comfortable clothes, swimwear, walking shoes, yoga clothes, a journal, and anything you need for the elements. A jacket for cool evenings.
Most importantly, leave room in your suitcase for the unexpected. We're embracing the natural beauty of this place—and of ourselves—so there's no need to overpack or overprepare.

Our days are intentionally spacious, balancing practices and adventures with plenty of time to rest, wander, swim, explore, or simply be. Mornings begin with yoga, followed by nourishing meals and opportunities to experience Montenegro together. Some afternoons are dedicated to excursions and cultural experiences, while others are intentionally left open. Evenings will be for resting with restorative and yin yoga, breath work and connection exercises. This is a retreat, not a rigid itinerary.
